HubSpot Invests in Grow.com to Help Serve SMB Market

OREM, Utah, March 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Grow.com, the reporting and analytics dashboard solution, recently announced its Series B round of funding. HubSpot participated alongside their institutional investors in the $16M round. To date, Grow has secured $26M in total funding from investors.

"Grow shares many of the attributes and values that have been key to our success at HubSpot," said Brad Coffey, Chief Strategy Officer at HubSpot. "While they have built a fantastic tool, Grow is first and foremost an intelligence provider, and they're focused on customer outcomes, not just margins. We are incredibly interested and confident in Grow's success."

Grow and HubSpot also come from similar origins. Both brands entered markets that were saturated with enterprise-level solutions but overlooked small and mid-sized businesses. By providing a tool that is specifically designed for SMBs, Grow hopes to do for BI what HubSpot did for marketing automation: make it accessible to the thousands of underserved growing companies in the mid-market. This, along with shared interest in creating beautiful, insightful, content-oriented user experiences, makes the partnership a natural fit.

"Marketing automation didn't exist for SMBs until HubSpot," says Richard Tripp, Chief Product Officer at Grow.com. "HubSpot didn't invent blogging, marketing automation or CRMs, but they brought a fresh take into the industry. They took a technical product, created a beautiful interface, and accompanied it with a great sales and marketing engine. That is what Grow is doing with BI, and we're excited to work with the great minds that have excelled in the mid-market we share."

The Series B investment will renew the company's growth in empowering businesses to become data-driven and accelerate growth by expanding sales and marketing efforts, creating new features within the app, as well as improving the HubSpot integration to more effectively serve mutual customers.

"At Grow, we pride ourselves on the aesthetic interface we have created for our users," says Rob Nelson, founder and CEO of Grow.com. "We look forward to our partnership with HubSpot because we share a passion for doing things beautifully, focusing on SMBs, and providing the right outcomes for our customers."
