Acquia Engage Heads to Austin Texas

It’s that time for Acquia’s customer conference again. Join the Acquia team along with our very own Laura Myers and Gabriella Pirrone from CMS-Connected for the 5th Annual Acquia Engage, held in Austin, TX at the new Fairmont Austin from November 7-9th.

This event promises not to disappoint, following a new format, this 3-day event will be jam-packed with lots of content. Make sure to take advantage of the pre-conference workshops which include three daylong tracks to choose from. These workshops are a fantastic opportunity to take a deeper look at specific areas of interest when working with Acquia, and add immense value to your time at Engage.The workshop tracks include: Driving Engagement Through the Customer Journey, Building for the Future of Digital Experiences, and Enabling Accessibility. This year, Erik Weihenmayer is one of the many keynotes to take center stage and is also known for his many accomplishments in athletics. Weihenmayer will share the inspiring story of his own journey when he became the first blind person to climb Mount Everest and all of the Seven Summits across the 7 continents. This year, along with the regular three-track line up “Build, Manage, and Optimize” Acquia has decided to expand their agenda and include a fourth talk track called Focus On” Focus On will feature a schedule of dynamic panels, all focused on specific topics we think are critical to the success of any business diving into the digital landscape.

Build - This track is all about simplicity. Attend this track if you’re on a mission to discover tried and true ways to bring your vision to life. Key takeaways for marketers are building a martech stack that facilitates growth and efficiency, and for IT, driving seamless integrations with lower development and maintenance costs.

Manage - This track is all about scalability. Attend this track if you’re looking for strategies and tactics to work smarter, not harder when it comes to managing digital. For marketers, that means ensuring your marketing efforts can scale with you; for IT, that means embracing authoring, site operations, and data security.

Optimize - This track is all about intelligence. Attend this track if you’re ready to start making diamonds from your data. Marketers will get to hear insights on making smarter decisions in real-time, and IT will learn how to tap into the power of automation and adaptation.

Altogther, there will be a total of 28 breakout sessions. These sessions will cover a range of topics, everything from decoupled Drupal to multisite management, journey orchestration, Acquia products and tools, customer case studies, and panels that discuss best-practices in industry-specific settings.

Engage will provide an awesome opportunity to get a bit more familiar with the company, their customers, and their amazing partners. You’ll have a chance to chat with Acquia’s product experts and digital strategists, and get an exclusive look at Acquia’s long-term vision.

Acquia has recognized the work of partners and customers that are leading the way with digital with its Acquia Engage Awards. The winners have been announced and they will be spotlighted through the conference. Projects were being judged on the following criteria: visual design, functionality, integration, and overall experience. A panel of web content management and digital marketing experts served as the judges.

No event would be complete without conference party. The Engage party will take place on the evening of November 8th, at the Austin Nightlife staple, Speakeasy filled with great food, live music, fun entertainment, and ample time to network.
