Acquia Appoints Matt Kaplan

Busy Month at Salesforce

Salesforce announced its appointment of Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer Parker Harris to its Board of Directors. "Since our founding in 1999, Parker has been instrumental in driving Salesforce's innovation and shaping our culture," said Benioff. "I'm thrilled to welcome him to the board and look forward to his continued impact on the company."

"It's been a privilege to be part of Salesforce as we've revolutionized the software industry, built a world-class company culture and grown into a Fortune 500 company," said Harris. "I'm grateful and honored to join the Board of Directors."

Along with the appointment, Keith Block has been promoted to Co-CEO of Salesforce, Block served as Salesforce's Vice Chairman, President and as a Director since joining the company in June 2013, and most recently served as the company's COO since February 2016. "Keith has been my trusted partner in running Salesforce for the past five years, and I'm thrilled to welcome him as co-CEO," said Benioff. "Keith has outstanding operational expertise and corporate leadership experience, and I could not be happier for his promotion and this next level of our partnership."

Additions at Dropbox

Dropbox welcomes two world-class leaders to Product and Marketing. Adam Nash will be the new VP of Product. Nash spent his career creating and scaling products used by millions of customers. Previously, he was President and CEO of Wealthfront, a pioneer in automated financial advice. Most recently, he served as executive-in-residence at Greylock, where he worked with portfolio companies on strategy and business development. Adam will lead the charge in building products that empower customers to do their best work. He’ll be responsible for setting strategic product direction, serving as a user advocate, and continuing to build a world-class product management organization. 

Naman Khan also joins Dropbox as VP of Product Marketing and Global Campaigns. An accomplished marketing leader with experience across B2B and B2C marketing and sales. Naman has held leadership roles at companies such as Microsoft, where he led product marketing for Microsoft Office, and Autodesk, where he led B2C growth. Khan recently left Salesforce where he led product marketing and go-to-market strategy for Sales Cloud. Khan will lead Dropbox's development of user messaging, marketing content, demand generation, and go-to-market strategy. Read More Here

Ex-Googler Joins HubSpot

HubSpot has appointed Shahid Nizami as Managing Director of the Asia Pacific region. In his new role, Shahid will be responsible for HubSpot’s performance across Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and India, and will be based in HubSpot’s Singapore office, working closely with the teams based in both Singapore and Sydney. Before joining HubSpot, Shahid led the Account Management business for Google Cloud in APAC where he managed a team spread across six different locations.

Nintex Welcome Dustin Grosse

Dustin Grosse has joined Nintex as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer. Grosse brings more than 25 years of technology management, strategy and marketing experience from previous leadership roles with Microsoft, DocuSign, McKinsey & Company, Procter & Gamble and other companies.

BigCommerce Expands Leadership

Mark Adams has joined BigCommerce as Vice President and General Manager for Europe. Adams will lead the company’s international expansion throughout Europe, including day-to-day management of the company’s newly-opened office in London.

Leslie Stretch New CEO at Medallia

Medallia, the leading customer experience management cloud company, announced that Leslie Stretch has been named Medallia’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
