Gladson and Webcollage Named to Walmart Connected Content Partner Program

Companies Together Will Provide Integrated Content Creation and Rich Media Brand Assets to Walmart Digital Commerce

Gladson, the leading creator and syndicator of product content, digital assets, and rich content for brands, retailers, and food distributors, today announced its selection by Walmart to participate in their newly launched Connected Content Partners for content enrichment and rich media. The company will provide Walmart suppliers with the ability to create content, enrich content and publish rich media for the retailer’s digital commerce platform.

Walmart developed the Connected Content Partner program as a way to help its suppliers identify content partners who could help their businesses more efficiently scale and deliver product content to Walmart’s digital commerce properties. Gladson participated in a thorough selection process over the past two months and was selected to support Walmart’s ‘Everyday Low Cost’ philosophy for their supplier base. Gladson was selected to enrich and distribute core content as well as publish rich media.

“The main philosophy behind the Connected Content Partner program was a harmonization of three ecosystems: retailer, supplier, and content,” said Frank Ogura, Staff Product Manager at Walmart Labs. “It was clear we had an opportunity to make it easier for suppliers to identify an impactful content partner.”

The program relies on four tenets, according to Ogura. “It must be simple and clear, present a clear value proposition, include trusted partners of Walmart, and drive measurable results. If a content provider satisfied these core tenets, they would bring value to the shopper experience.”

“We are excited to have both our content creation and enhanced content solutions invited to be key participants of the Connected Content Partner program,” said Justin Hartanov, Gladson’s Chief Commercial Officer. “We have evolved as an organization to provide our clients a single source for creating, enriching, auditing and distributing content among our retailer, food distributor, and supplier clients – and we look forward to our continued evolution. This program will help us serve Walmart’s suppliers efficiently and to their digital commerce requirements.”
