Market leaders create lightweight EAI strategy for customers
Los Angeles, CA — (April 29, 2013) — Liferay, Inc., a recognized leader in the enterprise portal market, today announced a multi-phase partnership with TIBCO Software Inc. that will deliver significant benefits to enterprises at significantly competitive prices. Available Q3 2013 for purchase from Liferay is a series of Liferay enterprise Connectivity Adapters (eC Adapters) that leverage TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ to simplify integration of Liferay Portal with SAP, Microsoft Sharepoint, JD Edwards, Peoplesoft, Lotus Notes, and Siebel, among others.

Following the availability of the Liferay eC Adapters, Liferay’s partner ecosystem will be able to leverage the same cost advantages for developing turnkey business solutions that integrate into backend systems using the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks adapters and plugins. Each solution will contain a portal-based application that can connect through BusinessWorks to backend systems, providing a complete solution at a significant price advantage.
