Telerik Responds to 2014 Gartner MQ Inclusion
It's been a busy holiday season for Telerik Sitefinity. As we reported during our December show
, among other high profile transactions, Telerik was wholly acquired by Progress Software
. The buyout has been described as an investment push to fuel Telerik through this next growth period and beyond. As an added bonus, Telerik was also recognized in the 2014 Gartner Magic Quadrant for WCM. They are in at the Visionary quadrant, but considering you must qualify at a $14million revenue threshold to be 'in the club', this is no small feat. We have our own thoughts on the subject (watch our full length video analysis of the show
), but this is most certainly a huge boost for the brand and awesome PR.
CMS-Connected reached out to Telerik and as expected, they are quite thrilled to be included in this exclusive list.
Andrew Marsland, Sitefinity Regional Manager for Asia Pacific also had this to say:
"Being included in the Gartner Magic Quadrant (MQ) for Web Content Management (WCM) is a very important milestone achievement for Telerik Sitefinity. Many CIO's consult the Gartner MQ when looking to shortlist available Enterprise software solutions. Telerik Sitefinity's inclusion in the MQ validates all the hard work from Sitefinity product team and the thousands of customer success stories. Being included in the MQ provides added third party independent confidence and ultimately will motivate more organisations to evaluate Telerik Sitefinity. This will benefit the Telerik ecosystem and the further evolutional development of Sitefinity. 2015 will see the release of the Sitefinity Digital Experience Cloud which will solidify our ability to execute and enhancement of our product roadmap vision."
Congratulations to Telerik and all of the other vendors who are just a little bit more 'Magical' this year.
